    The theme of the course is financial models for decision support at the company level in the energy and commodity industry. Examples of financial decisions are valuation, trading, risk measurement and risk management. Examples of operative decisions are production, transmission, storage, and investment. By the end of the course, students are abe able to identify, explain, and apply relevant models and concepts from finance to economic decision problems at the company level in the energy and commodity industry, such that important market characteristics are taken into account and relevant market information is used.
